Pastor Randy's Bio
Randy Helm is the founding Senior Pastor of Hope Chapel and pioneered the church plant out of Valley Cathedral in central Phoenix after serving on their pastoral staff from 1988-1993.
Born and raised in Arizona, Pastor Randy moved to Arlington Texas after serving in the U.S. Air Force where he served as a police officer for the City of Arlington. In 1981 Randy began as the Sr. Pastor of Christian Life Outreach Center in Arlington, TX where he served for seven years, returning to Arizona in 1988.
Pastor Randy has a deep love for the Bible and the church. It is mostly notable on Sunday morning as the congregation will often hear him teach on areas of personal repentance, reconciliation and prayer.
An avid outdoorsman, Randy enjoys hiking, hunting (when he actually gets drawn for elk) and camping. He and his three children live north of Phoenix where they enjoy adopting wild mustangs from time to time.
